WIP and Campaign Update

Whew! Long time no blarg! Sorry about that. I had some surgery, just a little total hip replacement, that sidelined me for a bit. I am back in the saddle again, having resumed my GameMaster duties for the LFG Plus campaign and getting lots of creative work done.

While I was laid up I was able to get some minis painted, and prepared some more material for the solo campaign. Sadly I did have to cancel my trip to play minis games IRL at Carnage Con this past weekend, I still can’t be on my feet for too long.

I painted up some really, really old Orc and Barbarian minis, about 20mm scale, that I’ll be using for the Ravenfeast gaming.

Next, in preparation for the long, snowy winter months, I have primed all of the sprues for the Warlord Games ACW “Epic Battles” set. I will plug away at these over the next few months (there are 24 of these sprues!)

I have also been working on keying the hex map of the campaign region, and have finally settled on a method and format. The hexes have schematic maps, something like this:

I will be doing a full post later on how this process works. It will include a custom PDF I made for filling in these keys with the most pertinent information.

I’ve also been doing more work on the Land of Terror campaign setting that I (hopefully) will start running in January 2022. If you are interested in playing, it’ll likely be Tuesday evenings, 9pm Eastern.

That is all for now, I am going to get some more cool and fun things ready to share with you next week. Have a great weekend!
