I am fascinated by the idea of the sample dungeon in the first edition AD&D Dungeon Master’s Guide. The example description of play was exactly what we needed for getting the feel of how to present these scenarios to the players in our campaigns.
Waaay back in antiquity, when I was just a lad, I created a full key for this dungeon. Alas, the vagaries of time and moving back-and-forth across the US for 30-some years has taken this work of creative teen-aged genius away from us.
Have no fear! I am working on a new version to fit into my World of WeirthTM Swords & Sorcery campaign.
Below is a basic description of the areas in the ruined monastery itself, and isometric maps of the Cellars and Crypts below.
