This review starts with Wednesday, since I screwed up my schedule this week. I got a lot done in the morning, followed by a break in the afternoon to chat with friends at the bookstore. Then in the afternoon I finished up the B2B post and plotted out my agenda for Thursday. This is very important and I have not been doing a good job of planning my MITs for the next day. I am also having trouble with the Weekly Planning worksheet, I made a mess of it this week. So I started plotting out next week’s agenda on Weds. as well.
I finally did an End-of-Day post here on the Journal, pretty happy about that, and started working on this for a few minutes Weds. evening as well. Good practice.
Thursday has a very full agenda and will require serious focus. the bad news: I scheduled myself for 15 hours plus of tasks. The good news: I completed 9:15 of that estimate in 8:45. Nice. Only the biggest, most time-intensive tasks did not get done (and they really aren’t due until next week, I’m trying to get ahead of the game by a week). Thursday was a good day. I took time to plot out Friday’s work, with time estimates in advance this time (8:00 even) so I should have a good day.
Friday was another good day, but I did run out of energy in the later part of the day. I had saved room on Saturday morning for finishing the undone, and that is what I did. I also went fishing on Saturday, caught a bunch of bluegill and had a wonderful time.
Paula had to work on Sunday afternoon, so we hung out in the morning and then I went to Alton to do the errands while she was working. Made YUMMY braised ribs for dinner.
All in all a good week, I am looking forward to next week.
